Alan Black is the Founder and Managing Partner at Surfspray Capital. Surfspray provides investment capital, strategic, and financial advisory services to late-stage private technology businesses preparing to transition from private to public companies. Alan has served as CFO of Zendesk, and CFO of Openwave Systems, and took both companies public. He was CEO of Intelliden, a company he successfully sold to IBM in 2010. His client list includes Bill.com, Looker, HashiCorp, and others.
